Accessibility statement
The Origami Corporation wants every visitor to be able to read and use this website. This statement sets out what we have done, what is still missing and how to tell us about a barrier.
Statement prepared on October 17, 2026
Our aim
We build this site to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA through its own markup: semantic headings and landmarks, text alternatives, operation by keyboard alone, a visible focus, sufficient colour contrast in both themes, and layouts that reflow when text is enlarged.
The site has not been audited by an independent party, so we do not claim conformance with WCAG or with any other accessibility standard.
Reading preferences
The accessibility button in the bottom-left corner of every page, the Reading preferences button in the footer, or the keyboard shortcut Alt+A opens a panel in which you can enlarge text; change line height, letter and word spacing; switch to the Atkinson Hyperlegible or OpenDyslexic typeface; align text left; raise contrast or choose a dark or light high-contrast scheme; reduce colour; highlight links and headings; strengthen the focus outline; stop animations; enlarge the pointer; hide decorative imagery; and use a reading line or reading window.
Your choices are stored in your browser on this device only. They are not sent to us and need no consent.
What the panel is not
The panel is a convenience, not a repair. It does not make this site conform to any accessibility standard, and it does not replace the settings of your operating system, browser or assistive technology, which work on every site. If any part of this site only works with the panel switched on, that is a barrier and we want to hear about it.
Known limitations
- Some pages carry content migrated from our previous website, including case study images whose text alternatives are short or generic.
- The company details on the imprint page are published as images. Their text alternatives name each field but not its value; write to us for a text version.
- The reCAPTCHA check behind the contact, careers and newsletter forms is provided by Google and is outside our control. You can always write to us by e-mail instead.
- The appointment booking form opens on a separate service that we have not reviewed for accessibility. You can arrange a meeting by e-mail or phone instead.
- Animated backgrounds stop when your system asks for reduced motion or when you choose Stop animations in the panel; otherwise they run.
Report a barrier
Write to office@theorigamicorporation.com, naming the page and describing what went wrong and which browser or assistive technology you use. We read every report and reply as soon as we can, and we fix barriers in our own code before new work.
